Together our membership of conservation organizations are committed to strengthening the work of conserving and expanding the definition of the modern conservation movement. We support their ongoing work through building capacity, training, and providing resources.
Momentum Conservation Historic Member Conservation Organizations
Mission: The mission of the Eastern Trail Alliance is to build, maintain, and promote the use of the Eastern Trail, a recreation and transportation greenway from Casco Bay to the Piscataqua River in Kittery, Maine. We do this by inspiring individuals and private and public organizations to partner with us to support this incomparable resource.
Geographic Area: Southern Maine
Mission: The Francis Small Heritage Trust works to conserve wildlife habitat, forests, and farms and to protect watersheds in northern York and far southern Oxford counties, for the purposes of environmental education, passive public recreation, and conservation.

Mission: Established in 2000, we are an all-volunteer group dedicated to the conservation, protection, restoration, and enhancement of the Scarborough Marsh.

Mission: Maine Audubon works to conserve Maine’s wildlife and wildlife habitat by engaging people of all ages in education, conservation and action.

Mission: The mission of Maine Farmland Trust is to protect farmland, support farmers, and advance farming.

Oceanside Conservation Trust of Casco Bay
Mission: To facilitate the conservation of wild or undeveloped open space, scenic areas, and historic landmarks in the Casco Bay region, to foster low-impact and respectful access to such resources and to enhance the cultural, economic and civil well-being of its residents and visitors.

Mission: Portland Trails is a nonprofit land trust that preserves green space for public access and connects people with places.

Mission: The Portland Water District’s mission is to protect public health, safety, and the environment by providing our customers first-class water, wastewater, and related services.

Mission: The Saco Valley Land Trust works to preserve scenic, historic, recreational and environmental resources in the Biddeford, Saco, and Old Orchard Beach area by acquiring interests in land; protecting open space, scenic areas & water quality, wildlife, and plant habitat for the public good.

Mission: Wild Seed Project works to increase the use of native plants in all landscape settings in order to conserve biodiversity, encourage plant adaptation in the face of climate change, safeguard wildlife habitat, and create pollination and migration corridors for insects and birds.
