Dine on fresh delicious oysters, mussels, and scallops as you take in the sights of Casco Bay. Your group tour will be equally as entertaining as it will be educational. You will not only delight your senses but get a behind-the-scenes look at shellfish farming. In between savory bites of seafood, the owner of Basket Island Oyster Company, Oceanographer Dr. Mark Green, will share his first-hand knowledge of shellfish farming and the important role farmed shellfish plays in the economy and the health of the ocean’s ecosystem. The group tour ticket is good through August 2019. Proceeds go to help support land and water conservation in Southern Maine.
